Movenpick Nile Cruiser Radamis I sails between Luxor and Aswan
or vice versa, a distance of 220 kilometers. With an overnight stay
in Esna/Edfu and either Aswan or Luxor, there is a choice of either
a 3 nights/4 days cruise, 4 nights/5 days cruise or a 7 nights/8 days
depending on cruise schedule.
Cabins and amenities
Movenpick Nile Cruiser Radamis I offers 65 deluxe cabins, including
4 family cabins and 4 suites which can be connected to accommodate
families or for an idyllic honeymoon. Cabins include a panoramic
wall-to-wall window offering an unhindered view, a bathroom with
a bathtub, individually controlled air-conditioning, in-house music
and video channels, Wifi, Marine Satellite, mini-bar, hairdryer and
shaving sockets. There is also a hairdresser and a shop.
Dining and entertainment
The Orangerie restaurant offers fine dining with international cuisine
and local delights. Barbecues are served on the sun-deck terrace.
Snacks and drinks are available around the pool and at the bar on the
sun deck with the Aida Lounge and Disco, the perfect venue to dance
or just enjoy a drink.
Sightseeing and history
The deluxe cruiser offers a full sightseeing program in the company
of an expert guide. The ancient city of Thebes offers the great
temples of Luxor and Karnak on the East Bank of the Nile, while the
West Bank is the site of the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut,
and the tombs of the Valley of the Kings and Queen. After sailing
through the Nile lock at Esna there is a visit to the temple of
Horus at Edfu, and then Kom Ombo temple. Aswan, in the heart of
Nubia, is home to the beautiful island temple of Philae and in stark
contract, the High Dam, a modern engineering feat that offers a
breathtaking view.
