You often see elephant, giraffe and various antelopes graze close to your vehicle, and it is not unusual that a pack of lion prevents free passage! Kruger National Park is the land of baobabs, fever trees, knob thorns, marula and mopane trees underneath which you can find not only the Big Five, but the Little Five (buffalo weaver, elephant shrew, leopard tortoise, ant lion and rhino beetle) and the birding Big Six (ground hornbill, kori bustard, lappet-faced vulture, martial eagle, pel's fishing owl and saddle-bill stork). We return to the hotel in the afternoon and you will have the rest of the day at leisure. You will have the option of another game drive in the evening (for your own account), this is a good time to observe the animals as they come down to the waterholes for their evening drink. Perhaps you will even be lucky enough to witness a lion kill. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
